About Rob
Designing hypothesis driven studies is my passion and my expertise! I developed an early interest in research while working in a cell biology lab as an undergraduate at Michigan State University, which led me to complete a PhD program in the Cambridge Centre for Medical Materials at the University of Cambridge. After graduate school, I joined a medical device manufacturer and learned about bringing a new product to market, and how to design and execute meaningful pre-clinical research. With over a decade of experience working in the Medical Device industry, I have a track record of delivering meaningful study results on time while finding creative solutions for controlling study costs. I bring many lived experiences from working with new product development teams and enthusiasm for knowledge driven product design to your next project.
My experience working in the medical device field is complemented by a profound personal connection to the work done in our industry. Inspired by the life-saving impact of a medical device that my wife received early in our relationship, I am driven by a commitment to produce devices that are not only safe and effective but also truly transformative for patients’ lives.
